Just a little jog

Running has become very popular lately; it engages all your muscles and helps shape your body. It’s true that you don’t need much to get started with this activity. Proper athletic wear is definitely essential, and you shouldn’t underestimate the importance of footwear. Your shoes should be specifically designed for running. Unfortunately, choosing the wrong shoes can actually cause harm. Not only can it lead to foot pain, but it can also result in back pain. Hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete are definitely not ideal for daily running, as they put extra strain on the knees and other joints. Going out for a run in nature or a park is far better for both fitness and health. Another advantage of running is that, as long as you feel up to it, there’s no age limit—which is absolutely great. It’s just important not to push yourself too hard and to alternate running with walking at first.muž, který běží podél pole

Getting started isn’t always easy

First and foremost, you need to decide which sport suits you best. Most often, it’s running, since you can start right away. There’s no need to commute anywhere or pay for a gym membership. You need to set your limits and avoid overexerting yourself. We don’t have to run like we’re in a race and gasp for breath. That’s really not what this is about. At first, it’s good to alternate running with brisk walking until we build up our stamina. This is called “Indian running.” We can even sprint a little—in short, enjoy running according to our strength, desire, and mood. muž, který je veselý, zpocený a nevdává maratonThe more we go running, the more we’ll fall in love with this discipline and look forward to going for a run even in the morning before work. Later on, we can work our way up to a marathon, of which several are held every year in various locations across our country and even abroad. But we’re getting a bit ahead of ourselves.
We definitely shouldn’t lose the joy of running, fight with ourselves, or overestimate our strength. Don’t forget to engage your arms while running so they work in harmony with your legs. Choose comfortable clothing, and it’s not a bad idea to run with a friend so you can support each other.
